For Students/Parents:

You have the right to withdraw from any booked slots by sending an email to [email protected] within 14 days of submitting an online or manual application form, without providing a reason. Please note that text messages, Facebook messages, or simple phone calls will not be considered as valid methods of withdrawal. If no withdrawal is requested within the 14-day period, the following conditions will apply.

Cancellation or rescheduling of booked slots must be made at least 120 hours before the scheduled lesson date by sending an email to [email protected]. The slot will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient date and time within the same week or the following week. In the case of unexpected illness before a slot, a scanned medical certificate sent to [email protected] is required to reschedule the lesson. Please note that text messages, Facebook messages, or phone calls will not be accepted as cancellation requests. Failure to follow this procedure will result in invoicing for unattended homework club slots, which must be paid or will not be refunded if already paid. Additional slots requested by a student outside the standard set of slots cannot be canceled.

If you intend to terminate all slots for any reason, you must notify us at least 3 weeks in advance by sending an email to [email protected]. Termination requests will not be accepted through text messages, Facebook messages, or phone calls. You are obligated to pay for any lessons within those three weeks from the notification of termination, whether you attend the homework club slots or not.

Slots or courses reserved by schools must adhere to a two-week notification period for rescheduling. In the event that the science explainer is unable to conduct the course on the scheduled day due to illness, the school will be notified by 8 a.m. Payment is required in full before the sessions are provided, and refunds will only be granted if a session is not delivered. Replicating the material or class format by any tutor present in the session is strictly prohibited.

Any refund requests will be subject to a 10% surcharge retained by SED Hub, covering administrative costs associated with initial registration and payment.

Your utilization of this website and any disputes arising from such use are subject to the laws of Malta.
